First Post New Blog Site
Hi All,
This is the first post of many for our new blogsite which we hope will keep you all up to date with what is going on with our lives, without us having to revert to 100 other apps and programs separately.
The blog is about the trials and tribulations of the toys you acquire after retirement. Firstly SV Eleuthera
and secondly ZK-SWM
The only thing that can be said to date is that nothing goes smoothly.
The aircraft took a long time to extract from the previous operators and when we ( my shareholder Mike and I ) we finally got the aircraft it was not running smoothly and off to the hanger for some maintenance, I was off overseas to see the yacht and go sailing and Mike was off to have a hip replacement and out of the air for some time. My time on our beautiful little amphibian would have to wait for the spring.
Arriving in Sicily at Marina di Ragusa the yacht which had been on the hard since February, with a list of jobs for the boat yard to complete, was still there having had no further work done on it since Hew left.
This is the start of our story.
Just found your blog and it looks great. I’ll be inspired to catch up with mine now….
As you know boats and planes (and relationships) all need lots of maintenance!
Hi, We decided to create one as an easy way to keep up with people rather than sending dozens of emails and I had always wanted to find out how to do one properly. Also Hew thought it was a great way to let people know some of the good contacts we have found here so others do not need to take as long to find out the same information. Glad it has inspired you – I will look forward to reading yours. Cheers Barb
